Computers

I enjoy building computers. Computers are lots of fun and you can always do something with them. Many people spend most of there time on some sort of computer, whether it be a laptop or desktop.
When I build my computers I always make sure to do my research you never want to order parts then find out they won't work together. As I write this I'm actually working on my computer, I'm installing a new 500GB hardrive for all my pictures. I recently built a computer for a radio station(which is the picture above). When building a computer it's not hard at all it's very simple, only a couple things you need to do that are half hard and that would be applying the CPU(Central processing unit) and then the heatsink that goes on the CPU, to keep it cool(you can see it in the above picture, the big silver thing) most computers have smaller ones but this computer needed a good one because it was a octa-core(8) which produces more heat. Are computer's at school are only duo-core(2).
So as you can see I enjoy building computer and I would love to get a job that has to do with them, I was hoping by the time Microsoft's server farm is built by the DMACC I would be able to apply. I currently help people online with issue's so hopefully I will be able to get some sort of job around computer's.

  1. I've taken apart computers before. Really, it's not hard but different computers are made differently, some with weird tabs that make it simpler to remove things. You only need to know where stuff goes back in. Also the names of each part drive me crazy, I can only really handle 'processor', 'CPU', or 'hard drive', else it gets really confusing. It's all fun though.

  2. Grant,
Cool post. I personally like to mess around with computers but I'm not good at it. You should be able to get a good job if you keep doing things like that for a radio station and get good reviews it should be a piece of cake =] good luck
