Day no pigs would die
Mr. Tanner talks about how Robert saved his cow, but Haven tries to make it so Robert doesn't get to excited that he saved it. Haven reminds Robert that he did skip school and that is very bad thing to do.
Haven gives Robert a piece of spruce gum. He also explains to Robert that sumac had come into season and shows him a piece that he had cut with the intent of making it into a whistle. This way if he gets in trouble he can blow it.

Be nice
Life is short so you might as well do the best you can during it. Many people like to have fun by drinking, it may be “fun” but you aren’t really having fun your just covering up your problems or emotions, as drinking brings false encouragement. I do not know why people still drink when they know its bad for them it just ends up causing more problems it just makes no sense.
By having fun with out doing bad things this truly makes me happy. By doing the right things I believe that it will allow you to live longer, stress is a true killer and without stress you can live a much longer life. I believe that the only way to get rid of stress is by doing what’s right and keeping your conscience straight. With a good conscience you can help many people and that usually ends up with some sort of reward.
My goal in life is to be good, help others and do what’s right. This will help you live longer and enjoy your life much, much more. So try to be good and keep a smile on your face, this is what I believe this will make anyone proud.

Computers
I enjoy building computers. Computers are lots of fun and you can always do something with them. Many people spend most of there time on some sort of computer, whether it be a laptop or desktop.
When I build my computers I always make sure to do my research you never want to order parts then find out they won't work together. As I write this I'm actually working on my computer, I'm installing a new 500GB hardrive for all my pictures. I recently built a computer for a radio station(which is the picture above). When building a computer it's not hard at all it's very simple, only a couple things you need to do that are half hard and that would be applying the CPU(Central processing unit) and then the heatsink that goes on the CPU, to keep it cool(you can see it in the above picture, the big silver thing) most computers have smaller ones but this computer needed a good one because it was a octa-core(8) which produces more heat. Are computer's at school are only duo-core(2).
So as you can see I enjoy building computer and I would love to get a job that has to do with them, I was hoping by the time Microsoft's server farm is built by the DMACC I would be able to apply. I currently help people online with issue's so hopefully I will be able to get some sort of job around computer's.

Photography

Photography is something I enjoy to do. I just recently got a Canon DSLR T2i, this camera has only been out for about 6 or so months. It has Canon's latest technology feature 18 million megapixels. Canon’s state-of-the-art DIGIC 4 image processor increases the speed and performance of the Canon EOS T2i, and allows other advanced features such as Face Detection Live Mode, HD video recording, lighting and lens peripheral optimization for greater flexibility. All of this is used so you can take high quality photo's. I have always been interested in photography and now that I have my camera Im starting to take pictures of are home football games.
I would like to slowly move up from taking photo's for fun, to getting paid for my photo's. Later this year I will most likely be going to NCAA wrestling tournaments, sense my dad does play-by-play I will be able to get media passes so I can take photo's. I am hoping that when I go, I will be able to sell some of my pictures to news crews. Photography is a great job and it will always be around if not more, I prefer to take nature shots but would enjoy taking portrait's for people.

Technology Is the Future
Something that interests me is the world of technology. I find it fascinating, and it’s fun to read and write about technology. The main part’s of technology I like to learn about is computers, and the future of electronics such as TV’s, phones, and many more. Technology is the way of the future.
The thing I enjoy most about computers is the hardware, I have tons of fun building computer’s. Many people think that building computers is a hard thing, but it’s so easy a caveman could do it. Well maybe not a caveman but mostly anyone could. The thing you need most for building computers is patience. Building a advanced computer can take anywhere from 2hours to 5hours. Just last week I built a computer for a TV/radio show and it took about 5hours it was a big build but very fun. The other part of things I like to do would be helping others with there problems as I am part of a forum that helps people with any questions or problems. The reason I like electronics is because they are the way of the future. Another part I enjoy is to read about new TV’s like OLED TV’s that are as thin as paper, or about brand new cell phones that people in the market won’t see for a year and car’s that can hover, or jetpacks, which are all real.
Those are just a couple things that I enjoy to do and to learn about, there are many other things I like to do that don’t have to do with computers or even electricity, as I like to bike and drive ATV’s on are trails. I believe that school’s should teach more about computer’s, the reason why is because when we get out of college there will be a lot of jobs that require skills with computers. Sense technology is the way of the future we all need to understand it, it does have some of its draw back’s but it has many more positive views.
